On the fourth day of the Wall Street Immersion, our group visited two major asset managers represented by Compass in Brazil.
The first was the nearly century-old Wellington Management, which manages over $1.1 trillion across dozens of different fund strategies.
At 7:30 AM, we were welcomed to participate in their famous "Morning Meeting," connecting investment teams from their global offices, a tradition since 1958.
Afterward, we delved into Active Fixed Income, Global Equities, Hedge Funds, and had a session on global asset allocation, finishing with a detailed overview on the American political landscape.
In the afternoon, we visited the New York base of the South African manager, Ninety One. Founded in 1991 (hence the firm's name), they currently manage about $160 billion.
